Scorpion Chapter 9 I was leaping from rooftop to rooftop. It was just so easy, like walking in the park. Run, land, sprint and jump. Repeat.
I'll admit, I had dreamed of this as a kid. Whenever Pa would threaten to beat the tar outta me with his belt, I would run to the top of the complex, and just dream of leaping to the next rooftop. 20 years later, and here I was, like some kind of shadow, jumping from one corner of the street to the other. The rooftops, chimney's with smoke billowing out of them, blew past me, I was moving top speed, and when I finally stopped, I realized I had gone 60 blocks in less than a minute and a half.
